Web Design Process

From Concept to Completion

Here I will describe the development process of a typical website. It is meant for guideline purposes only as many sites present a unique set of problems and requirements to be overcome.

Wireframe Sketches

After our initial meeting rough sketches of the general layouts of typical page templates will be produced and agreed. This ensures that a clear direction is set out before the more detailed design work begins and allows radical changes to be made easily with a focus on functionality.

Layout Composites

Static jpeg images are supplied that illustrate exactly how the key pages within the website will look.

Site Construction

The HTML and style sheet are coded and the website may be uploaded to a content management system (if required) at this stage.

Handover

If the website is running on a content management system the client may choose to add the content themselves before the website goes live.
